Press Release - Goodbye to Lunar Event - for now

Lunar Event isn’t really saying goodbye, we're just saying goodbye to Lunar Event. With recent lineup changes, and a natural evolution of sorts, the band just doesn't reflect what we're interested in musically anymore. That being said, Lunar Event's last show will be this Sunday at Radio Radio (Oct 15th with Asobe Seksu). I will continue to write music under the name, but no new songs will be released anytime soon. When I do release something again, it will resemble the mostly electronic version of Lunar Event. Any future project of the current lineup will likely be guitar driven.

I started Lunar Event 7 years ago as a one person studio project. It grew from zeros and ones to something organically beautiful, as did the relationships between everyone involved. We want to thank everyone for all the support over the years. All and all, we had a good long run.
